Chardonnay from Russian River, California: Iron Horse Estate Chardonnay 2007

The 2007 Estate Chardonnay is one of our most complex, balanced and expressive Chardonnays since our first release in 1979, an expression of "Estate Bottled," "Precision Winegrowing" and "Artisanal Winemaking." 98% Barrel Fermented and 98% "Heritage Clone." This Chardonnay already has the benefit of an extra year on the cork so there is no reason to wait to enjoy a bottle, or more.

By nose; autolyzed yeast, lichee and lime. By mouth; tangerine, grapefruit and lime. Pairs great with risotto (including mushroom, green olive or spring vegetables) and Pastas, particularly with white, red or pesto sauce.
