Rhone White Blends from Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Rhone, France: Ch. La Nerthe Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2007

Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is is a little known but striking wine. Blended from Grenache Blanc, Boubelenc, Roussanne & Clairette, the wine's unique spicy yet floral qualities make it a crowd pleaser and its firm acidity provides the structure for a rare white which can benefit from a small amount of aging.

Wine with a bright yellow dress, limpid and young hints. Intense bouquet of spring and white flowers, apple, pear, light woody notes and vanilla. On the palate, a frank attack and a real volume, aromas of fresh fruits and white peach with subtle barrel notes. A wine with a long elegant finish

Very bright and pure, with a stony beam that drives the quince, green and yellow apple, honeysuckle and heather notes. The long finish has mouthwatering minerality. Drink now through 2011. 1,666 cases made
