Sauvignon Blanc from Sonoma County, California: Chalk Hill Sauvignon Blanc 2007

Aromas of key lime pie, ripe green melon, white nectarine and pineapple echo its palate, round in texture yet refreshingly crisp. This wine was made through noninvasive winemaking practices, without exposure to air and bottled unfiltered to preserve the intricate aromas and flavors of the Sauvignon Blanc grape.

Bright gold hue. White grapefruit aromas with whiffs of basil and lemon grass. Excellent weight and texture with an expressive grapefruit and poached pear flavor. Lingering mineral accents temper the sweetness in the lengthy finish.
