Sauvignon Blanc from Chile, South America: Veramonte Sauvignon Blanc Reserva 2009

Appearance: Good clarity with light straw color.

Aroma: Fresh lemon-lime fruit, intense peach, citrus, and herbs mingle with floral accents.

Tasting Notes: Medium body with citrus, melon and herb flavors that linger on the palate and end with a crisp finish.

Pale yellow. High-pitched, spicy aromas of lime zest, grapefruit and talc, with a suave floral overtone. Juicy, sharply focused citrus and mineral flavors expand and gain depth in the middle palate, picking up a juicy pear quality. The talc note returns on the finish, which is refreshingly nervy and dry.
