Chardonnay from Sonoma County, California: Matanzas Creek Chardonnay 2007

Color: Golden straw.

Nose: The first nose delivers notes of honey and lemon. After a swirl, honeysuckle flower and d'Anjou pear become more evident.

Flavor: A silky texture with flavors of lemon cream, white peach and pear progress into caramel and butterscotch with mineral accents.

Gold hue with a brass glint. Fresh peach and apple aromas with a whiff of banana peel. Flavors of peach nectar and apple deliver a zing of fresh acidity. Drying mineral impressions surface in the crisp, lengthy finish.
