Bordeaux White Blends from Pessac-Leognan, Bordeaux, France: Domaine de Chevalier Blanc 2004

Very pale color. Pungent, high-toned aromas of pineapple, grapefruit, quinine, ginger, mint, minerals and flowers. Densely packed and succulent, with refreshing, sharply delineated flavors of lime, grapefruit, mint and minerals. Offers a compelling sweetness buffered by bright acidity. At once supple and gripping, and very long and lively on the back end. This is 13% alcohol without any chaptalization. A great early showing. Range 92-94
