Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley, California: St. Supery Sauvignon Blanc 2009

The 2009 Sauvignon Blanc is bright, with intense aromas of lime juice, ruby grapefruit, guava and a hint of clover. It is truly a show-stopper. Exquisite flavors of focused lemon, lime and grapefruit invite you back for more. You will not be able to put this wine down.

Extreme passionfruit powers this young sauvignon, a wine that's more New Zealand than Napa Valley at the moment. It's tart and tight, needing six months in bottle to ease into a more gentle balance, when the fruit intensity will work well with grilled seaford.
